All About Sam: Everyone knows Sam Krupnik. He’s Anastasia’s pesky but lovable younger brother. This is Sam’s big chance to tell things exactly the way he sees them. He has his own ideas about haircuts, nursery school, getting shots, and not eating broccoli. Sam thinks a lot about being bigger and stronger, about secret codes and show-and-tell. Make way for your little brother, Anastasia. Here for the first time is Sam Krupnik’s story. What a life! Attaboy, Sam!: Sam Krupnik is at it again. This time he wants to make a special surprise perfume for his mother’s birthday. First he has to collect his mother’s favorite smells in Ziploc backs. He uses an old grape juice bottle to hold everything from chicken soup to his father’s pipe to a poop-smelling tissue from a baby’s room. Sam stashes all the smells in his toy box and won’t let his mother into his room. It’s really starting to stink in there. Still, Sam can’t wait for his mother to see and smell her birthday surprise. But Mrs. Krupnik isn’t the only one who’s in for a surprise. See You Around, Sam!: Sam Krupnik gets angry with his mother when she won’t let him wear his new plastic fangs in the house. He plans to run away to Alaska, where walruses have tusks that sort of look like fangs. As Sam stops at his neighbors’ houses to say good-bye, he gets a lot of advice and loads of stuff to carry along. After a while, his bag gets very heavy. The fangs smell and taste terrible. Sam feels miserable but wonders what will happen if he changes his mind about running away to Alaska. Zooman Sam: Sam Krupnik is all set for future Job Day at school. He already knows that he wants to be a zookeeper when he grows up. Sam’s mother and his sister, Anastasia, help him make a terrific costume to wear on Future Job Day. The trouble is that it’s so terrific, Sam wants to wear it all the time. Luckily, Sam’s teacher helps out by suggesting that he tell the class about a different animal each day. Sam likes being the center of attention, but can he keep on being Zooman Sam forever?
